FOUNTAIN OF HOPE MINISTRIES of UGANDA
AT A GLANCE IN 2022
A Distinct Identity
Fountain of Hope Ministries in Jinja, Uganda has been committed to a church planting mission since 2010. The next phase led Robert Sityo to train rural pastors to accurately communicate the Gospel and make disciples of Christ. Much of this ministry began by educating the next generation through quality schools. Read this story.
MINISTRIES
Bringing Hope to Uganda

PLANTING HEALTHY CHURCHES
One Community at a Time
At Fountain of Hope Ministries, we are committed to reaching communities with the gospel message of God's salvation through Christ. The birth of each of the 22 churches began Iin 2010 with an evangelistic crusade, new believers' baptism and then constructing a church for this community of believers. A pastor then is called and trained at the Bukeeka School of Theology to teach and serve this community wholistically.
TRAINING CHURCH PASTORS AND LEADERS
Equipping Leaders with God's Word
Over 284 church leaders have graduated from the Bukeeka School of Theology (BEST), an extension school under the direction of Robert Sityo and a team of qualified teachers. It is the goal to develop leaders who bring the gospel and God's restoration to a community through compassionate leadership. Presently 120 graduates are pastors as of 2022. There are 174 new students studying presently.
FOUNTAIN OF HOPE SCHOOLS
Developing the Next Generation
The primary and award-winning secondary school located in Bukeeka, Uganda now has over1384 students. This Christian school is located in a predominantly Muslim community and provides a challenging education through a Christian faculty. There is an active Student Sponsorship Program gaining traction. Hundreds of families are now followers of Jesus because of this school.
NEW MEDICAL MINISTRY
The newest ministry grew out of the pandemic of COVID. A team of medically trained folks began to bring assessment skills and medicine to the church communities. Since 2022 began, they have served 1450 patients and there have seen over 340 people make salvation decisions from the medical ministry alone.

Robert Sityo, the director of Fountain of Hope Ministries, is committed to help teach the next generation of Christ-following leaders in Uganda.
In the New Testament the Apostle Paul said to Timothy,
"You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others."
II Timothy 2:1,2
Robert and Sarah Sityo have been faithful servants of Christ since their marriage in 2005. While finishing at a local seminary in Jinja, Uganda, the Sityos were praying about how they could start a church. They live in a predominantly Muslim area in Uganda and Robert preached to his wife alone on many Sundays. No one was interested in their Christian church. God spoke to Sarah through a dream and told her that they should start a school. So they began a pre-school and added one grade each year. Now the Fountain of Hope School has over 1300 students and about half of the students are Christ followers. This began a tremendous outpouring of God’s grace in this community. Hundreds of Ugandans have found Christ and churches have sprouted up. Churches were begun every year after that and the Bible training school followed.
A facet of the Sityo story about them becoming the guardians of 18 children and having triplets is on a blog you may find fascinating.
